What benefits can I expect when I join this class?
Apart from being taught belly dancing not much.
Nevertheless, a good teacher will give the students the opportunity to excel. Nurture their talent and provide opportunities to perform in public, even if it is on a small scale. So do not forget to check if your chosen one does offer any possibilities.
But beware, some do say they will, but nothing ever happens. It would be wise to find prove of previous public appearances with students or by students.
How much does it cost me?
If it is a course at a public education facility like college or university. The teacher is not responsible for any costs or payment. That's done via the body of education.
But if the classes are held at a community venue, by hiring a room for the time of the lessons, it is up to the teachers discretion as how much to charge.
Unfortunately some teachers care all about the money, Pay for your your 3 month course and then who cares.

How much for a course, lasting for how many weeks.
Can you do pay as you go, or only set courses. Nothing worse than having paid for so many weeks, only to find out, that you don't like belly dancing. Or you don't like the teacher, or worse, an injury prevents you to finish the course. Well tough!!! Your money is gone.
So if you are a newby, try PAY AS YOU GO first, if it is not offered at your chosen class, don't bother. Find somebody who does.
